I was very fortunate to get in touch with Smt Sanghita Mondal of FOKE (Friends of Kolkata's Eldery, foke.in) through another member Smt Jhinku Banerjee. It was an eye opener to see the scope and expanse of the projects for various organizations helping people in need.
I am very thankful to be able to contribute my time, energy and whatever little skills I have to some needed infrastructure in 2 branches of FOKE.
I am looking forward to working with them more in my future trips. As a starter, I could finish a few projects including a notice board enclosure and a couple computer tables. Used steel and plywood from local shops and build them in our apartment carport.
